Radiation therapy is the controlled use of ionizing radiation in cancer treatment. Nearly 80% of all cancer patients undergo Radiation Therapy as primary therapy or as adjuvant along with surgery/chemotherapy or for palliation of symptoms like pain. Our UNIQUE CLINIC system helps to deliver a number of treatment techniques, combined with leading-edge features, it can aid clinicians to deliver quality treatment and help in accurately managing the day-to-day requirements in patient setup and positioning while minimizing the risk to the surrounding healthy tissue.
In our institution, we are concerned about the quality and consistency of treatment planning and delivery in all aspects of the radiotherapy process. We therefore routinely perform quality assurance procedures that reduce the uncertainties and errors in treatment planning and dosimetry to ensure consistency and accuracy over the planned course of treatment.
