The Christian Institute of Health Sciences & Research (CIHSR), partnering with the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Nagaland, this Course trains people to provide safe, respectful daily care for older adults, persons with disabilities, and chronically ill patients. It blends basic nursing skills, hygiene, mobility support, communication, and emergency response with ethics and emotional support. With rapidly ageing populations, rising chronic disease, and caregiver shortages, such training is essential to ensure dignity, safety, and quality of life.
6 MONTHS:
Candidate must have completed the age of 17 years on or before February 2026 and not over 45 years.
Placement at patient’s home for care, jobs in old-age homes, jobs in health agencies in Nagaland and Internationally.
8 am to 4:30 pm, above 80 % attendance required (shift duties during internship)
Students have to arrange their own accommodation.
