REGIONAL SEMINAR AND WORKSHOP ON NURSING GOVERNANCE AND LEADERSHIP
The above seminar was conducted for the nurses under 35 years of age in order to commemorate the 200th Birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale and as part of NURSING CHALLENGE. The participants attended the seminar was 125 and the workshop was 33.
Workshop on Obstetrical Emergencies for two days
Workshop on Obstetrical Emergencies for two days is planned for government staff Nurses as a part of strengthening midwifery skills once in three months
I Workshop was conducted on November 25th & 28th 2019. Only 9 staff nurses attended the program
II Workshop on 18th & 19th Feb 2020, 24 staff nurses attended the program.

SNA MEET: 24th & 25th Aug 2017
SNA meet was held on 24th & 25th Aug 2017 to select students to represent Nagaland State for the National SNA Conference, in Guntur, AP. Five Schools of Nursing participated in various competitions and our students got first prize in seven out of the ten competitions. A total of 18 members are selected to participate in the competitions during National SNA Conference
Regional workshop: May 3rd 2017
Regional workshop was arranged on May 3rd 2017 with the theme: “Innovations in Teaching Methodology”. The participants were faculty from all the government and private SON, Nagaland and two from Tezpur, Assam.
6th Foundation Day: 23rd October 2017
College of Nursing observed its 6th Foundation Day on 23rd October 2017 . Dr.Jacob Chacko addressed the gathering and Mrs. Bharathy Jacob gave a short message, Dr.Christy Simpson presented the annual report followed by cake cutting by all the administrators.
One day State seminar: Nov 29th 2016
College of Nursing do have network with the existing Government and private nursing schools and hospitals to share and improve their knowledge in teaching – learning process. Workshop on Nursing Audit was organized and it was attended by tutors of CIHSR, Singrijan SON and District hospital Dimapur. One day State seminar was organized on Nov 29th 2016 based on the theme: “Bed side Nursing to Classroom teaching: Resuscitating the use of Nursing Research” which was sponsored by ICMR and attended by tutors and students from all the SON, Nagaland where a total of 206 participated. The Nursing procedure manual was released during inaugural programme by Dr. Sedevi Angami, Director CIHSR. The resource persons were faculty of CON, CIHSR.
