The Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research Library, housed at Abraham Joseph- Centre for Learning is a premier Library in Nagaland established along with the institute catering to the needs of the students, research scholars, faculty, administrators and staff of the institute.

The CIHSR Library is a two Storied Building with a seating capacity of over 200 plus Readers. The top floor houses the Allied Health Sciences department books for courses like Diploma in Radio Diagnosis technology(DRT), Diploma in Medical Records Technology(DMRT), Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology(DMLT), Diploma in Optometry and Ophthalmic Technology(DOOT) and Diploma in Anaesthesia Technology(DAT).

The first floor, houses the College of Nursing section with collection of books on subjects like Anatomy & Physiology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biophysics, Pathology, Genetics, Psychology, Sociology, Health Economics, Maternity Nursing, Child Health Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Medical Surgical Nursing, Fundamental of Nursing, First Aid, Nursing Education, Nursing Administration, Nursing Research, Biostatistics, Nutrition and Dietetics, English Literature, Christian Literatures And Value Education Books.

The ground floor houses the doctor’s library with diverse information resources on Medical Surgical Books with various specialty for both Doctors and PG Students.

At present, the library houses a diverse collection of over 4000 volumes of books and bound Journals both National and International, Secular and religious books, Secular Magazines, Newspapers and E-Resources subscribed from CMC Vellore.

The library provides various services which includes:

2. Reference
3. Reprography
4. Internet
5. Periodicals
6. Newspapers and magazines (both secular and religious)
